About EMC Youth
EMC Youth is a collective of young volunteers, founded in 2022, who strongly believe that every child and young person deserves to grow up in a safe and responsible digital world. We travel across Morocco to meet young people where they are, listen to them, guide them, and inspire them.
We see youth as active participants in the present, capable of proposing solutions, raising awareness, and transforming their environment. Sharing, understanding each other, and promoting positive values are for us key levers to build a conscious and responsible digital society.
In today's digital era, cyberviolence and harmful content threaten the well-being of young people. Our mission is to equip them with the tools to navigate online safely while fostering digital citizenship and respect for others. Since our launch, we have reached over 50,000 students across more than 10 cities in Morocco, engaging both urban and rural areas. Our team currently includes 25 active members, all committed to making a real difference.
Our Activities
We organize workshops and awareness sessions in schools, colleges, high schools, and universities on topics including cyberbullying, online scams, video game addiction, cybersecurity, and digital citizenship.
Since 2022, EMC Youth has actively participated in Safer Internet Day, with a fully youth-led organization in 2025, demonstrating autonomy and leadership. The team also represents young voices at national and international conferences, under the guidance of the Moroccan Cyberconfidence Space (EMC) and the Moroccan Center for Polytechnic Research and Innovation (CMRPI), advocating for cybersecurity and safe digital practices.
